Hey everyone!
We are Jen & Pharaby. We have been using buttons to communicate for about a year, she currently has 12 buttons & we are adding more Pharaby is a expert trick dog, she currently knows 56 tricks. She is also my service dog.
Iβm trying to plan out my new board & Iβm not sure what these words would be considered.
So, βtricksβ seems like a verb, but it could also be the object of the sentence. βLetβs do tricksβ π where would that one go? & what is scritches considered? π€£ Iβve realized I donβt have any βobjectsβ & we have a ton of verbs.
I am running out of space for my LR buttons (we will have 16 buttons on Friday) & it will still be another week or so before my new FP buttons arrive so Iβm kind of not sure what to do with my board... or lack of board π€£
We currently have the buttons in a row (see behind her in the picture) I know I need to arrange them in a more cohesive way so she can communicate easier. Iβm not sure if I should start arranging them in the style of the FP board or how I would even do that since they arenβt stuck down.
What would you do? What have you done?
I want to do my best to avoid confusion & frustration for her. She loves her buttons π
Iβm not sure where to post this but does anyone else get trolls on their button progress videos? Itβs strange that people want to be rude about this. Iβm fascinated by this & amazed at the dogs & other animals who are able to express themselves in this new way. I just donβt understand why someone would make rude comments.
